Sevendale House, which was purchased in 1986, is very much the flagship of the PJD group. The portfolio contains a number of properties located in Manchester City Centre, One Express and Two Express in Ancoats, Murray House in Piccadilly and St John’s Court on Quay Street.

In 2014, Mark completed a £6M refurbishment at Sevendale House which was nominated in the 2016 RIBA Regional Awards. The Grade II listed building offers over 65,000 sq ft of quality office space and 30,000 sq ft of retail and leisure space. The restoration of one of the Northern Quarter’s most prominent buildings included reinstating the lightwell and installing three new central lifts, as well as the creation of a stunning new reception area.

The building is currently undergoing a further £2.5M refurbishment of the Ground floor, and Lower Ground, with the creation of breakout space, meeting rooms, fitness studio and relocated bike storage area.

Forward fitted suites are being created at firth and fifth floor ranging from 300 sq ft-4,300 sq ft. Suites at third and fourth floor are also being upgraded. The work will be completed by April 2024.

In 2019 St John’s Court was completely refurbished and is now fully let providing 4,800 sq ft of office accommodation over ground and three upper floors.

The £2M refurbishment of Two Express was completed in March 2020 - all the available office space of 13,000 sq ft was pre-let to a single tenant whilst the work was being undertaken.

One Express, a 30,000 square foot Grade 11* listed building was completely refurbished in 2021 at a cost of £5M creating high quality workspace along with a café (Off The Press) and gym (ONE XPS Fitness) and in addition, ground breaking smart technology has been utilised to ensure that tenants requirements are catered for to produce an efficient workspace. The whole of the building was let within six months.
